GUILLOTINE STRAIGHT BLADES
For use on pickling lines, galvanizing lines, polymer coating lines, cold rolling mills and guillotine shears.
To select the alloy grade for blades and ensure maximum blade service life, attention should be paid to the following:
Type of material to be cut — low-carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminium, magnesium or brass. Mechanical properties of the material. Material thickness — the average thickness of the material being cut as well as the maximum thickness.
Material temperature — hot or cold cutting. Type of operation — continuous or intermittent: blades are used in long production processes or used occasionally (sample cutting, auxiliary operations).
