SPACERS FOR SLITTING LINES

For use on pickling lines, galvanizing lines, polymer coating lines, cold rolling mills and pipe welding mills.

Spacer rings are used to adjust the gap between blades when setting up a slitting unit to the desired size. Depending on customer requirements, spacer rings are manufactured with or without rubber coating.

The outer rubber coating protects the metal from mechanical damage. The rubber coating of the body complies with ISO/TR 7620 and can be manufactured in various hardness levels. We produce rings according to your drawings in the range of 50 to 490 mm in diameter, from 0.1 to 175.0 mm in thickness with a step of 0. mm.1

Rings and rubber gaskets are made from polyurethane, perbunan or nitrile rubber, which are common components used when setting up slitting line tooling.

Premium quality, high precision, strength and durability are the words that best describe the products manufactured at GE Blades. As an embodiment of excellence, our company has always strived to provide its customers with only the best since its foundation.

Using high-quality gaskets, which can be metal or rubber, directly affects the maintenance cost and service life of cutting knives in slitting line tooling.

Spacer ring material and hardness are selected according to the process conditions (type of material being processed, process speed) and based on the recommendations of the slitting line manufacturer.

Using modern technologies, a wide variation of compressible properties can be achieved. At the customer’s request, we can supply multilayer rings with rubber of almost any hardness.
